Novice Human units Empty Novice Human units

Last thread about novice cards. You know it by now: name, ready time(/ready time of higher tier), attack, health(, special)
I won't list the cards that are equal for humans and elves anymore: you can find them here https://checkthismate.darkbb.com/the-bear-cave-f3/novice-elf-units-t100.htm

Human cards:
Aanglor Bladesman 6/4 2,4 Retaliate 1
-Retaliate makes him do 1 damage to his attacker. This will be most usefull against units with Block, because Retaliate isn't affected by Block.
Aanglor High Guard 8/6 1,4 Block 1 Retaliate 1
-Block will negate some incoming damage, allowing him to survive longer. Retaliate is a nice add here, because it also gets triggered if your enemy does 0 damage because of Block = you do 2 dmg, he does 0
Aanglor Knight10/8 2,4 Trample Block 1
-You might want to use a few of these when fighting elves: they usually have enough archers to make it worth using. When fighting humans, go for Aanglor Veteran: same ready and attack, but more health and humans don't have archers, but they do have pikeman.
Aanglor Rider 4 1,5 Trample
-You might want to use a few of these when fighting elves: they usually have enough archers to make it worth using. When fighting humans, you should choose Estian Footman: lower wait time, same stats and humans don't have archers, but they do have pikeman.
Aanglor Veteran 10/8 2,5 Block 1
-A solid unit: it has more health than average and Block. Accompanied by a healer this card can survive for quite a while. His downside is the ready time: don't use too many in your deck or you will be dead before you can get some cards out
Aanglor Warmaiden 4 1,3 Block 1
-When fighting humans choose her instead of Estian Footman: they don't have fast mages, so she will probably survive longer. Against elves you can choose both Estian Footman would be better against Silvintri Boltmage, Aanglor Warmaiden would be better against Forest Crawler....
Estian Cleric 10/8 1,4 Heal 2
- He will usually survive longer and be of more use to your units than a Aanden Herbalist. Light Priestess Enyi is even more durable, but you can only use 1 of her in each squad, so Estian Cleric will be your main healing source
Estian Fighter 4/2 1,5 Retaliate 1
- Better than Estian Footman: the Retaliate is worth waiting that extra turn for
Estian Skullchrusher 4 2,2 Retaliate 1
- Don't expect this unit to survive long. In Novice battles you can use this to get some early damage in. Later on they'll be only good for spam (which can still be easily beaten)
Estian Wizard 10/8 0,4 Chain Zap 2
- With Chain Zap 2 you can get some decent damage in even when you only hit one card
Heavy Pikeman 10/8 2,4 Pikeman Block 1
- Not really worth using because of the low amount of cavalry used. You're better off with Aanglor Veteran because of his health
Wall Of Spears 2 0,4 Retaliate 2
- Most useful against units with 1 attack/2 or less health. Putting 1 or 2 in your deck might come in handy, especially because they come out fast: most fast units will die against Wall Of Spears
