Expansion Symbols
Check the official Card Set help first. Card Set Help/FAQ
All cards in Warstorm have corresponding symbol which indicates the set or expansion that card belongs to.
= Basic Set
= Core Set
= Demon Expansion
= Dragon Expansion
They can be found at the top of the wait counter, left side of the card ability. Here are some examples.
It is important to know the set/expansion symbol, especially the basic and core sets; because there are some duplicate cards that can be found from those sets. Take the T5 Aanden Silverback for example.
There are also some T6 version of basic cards in the core set.
You can see that there is no difference in the cards stats, except for the color of the cards name.
If you are looking for non-hero cards in the basic set, always check the symbol if it's a basic set card. Don't get the core set version because, generally they are much expensive than the basic version and you can't use them in Basic Set Only tournaments. One exception to this is, if you're planning to get the set completion achievement (Core Badge of Armory).
Also take note of core set version of basic set heroes because they have different stats and offers artifact/spell addition in squads.
